Our state-of-the-art facility in Kerala, India, houses advanced CNC machining centers, autoclaves, and testing laboratories approved by ISRO, DRDL, and NPOL. From small O-rings to large-format butterfly valve seats exceeding 100 inches, we deliver components that meet the most demanding specifications.
We are proud to serve organizations like ISRO and DRDL, having contributed critical components to landmark missions including Chandrayaan, Mangalyaan, and the Gaganyaan human spaceflight program. Our Story

Founded in Konathukunnu, Kerala
Vajra Rubber Products was established in Konathukunnu, Thrissur, Kerala, with a vision to manufacture precision rubber components for Indian industry. The company began with a small workshop and a commitment to quality engineering.
First Major Industrial Contracts
Secured first major industrial supply contracts, establishing Vajra Rubber Products as a reliable manufacturer of custom rubber components for the oil and gas and industrial sectors in India.
ISO 9001 Certification Achieved
Achieved ISO 9001 Quality Management System certification, formalizing the company's commitment to consistent quality and continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.
Supplied Components for ISRO Programs
Began supplying critical rubber and composite components for Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) programs, marking the company's entry into the aerospace supply chain.
IATF 16949 Certification
Obtained IATF 16949 certification for automotive quality management, enabling supply to major automotive OEMs and tier-1 manufacturers with full production part approval process (PPAP) compliance.
Chandrayaan Moon Mission
Supplied critical flex seals and elastomeric components for India's Chandrayaan Moon Mission, contributing to the success of one of India's most celebrated space exploration achievements.
Mangalyaan Mars Mission
Manufactured rocket motor components for ISRO's Mangalyaan Mars Orbiter Mission, which made India the first nation to reach Mars orbit on its maiden attempt.
World's Largest Butterfly Valve Seat — 108 Inches
Designed and manufactured the world's largest rubber butterfly valve seat at 108 inches (2,743mm) diameter, demonstrating Vajra's unique capability in large-format precision rubber moulding.
Ablative Tile for India's Human Space Program
Developed advanced thermal protection ablative tiles for the Gaganyaan human spaceflight program, providing critical re-entry heat shield technology for India's first crewed space mission.
Carbon Composite Molding Capabilities Expanded
